Excursions to Tyrol's attractions

Cultural excursion destinations for your summer vacation in Hintertux. Even if the Zillertal is every bit as radiant as the sunshine itself, it still rains here sometimes and there is the occasional refreshing summer storm that washes over the mountains. This is no reason to be sad! Tyrol has much to offer beginning with the state capital of Innsbruck with its world-famous Goldenes Dachl (Golden Roof) and the ski jump, which is an architectural masterpiece. There is also Kufstein, which is home to the well-known Riedel glassware manufacturer and the impressive Kufstein fortress, or Austria's smallest town: Rattenberg. The historic salt-mining town of Hall in Tirol is also a great excursion for the whole family as is the fascinating Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens.

Gorges and canyons, alpine coasters, museums, and palaces: the cultural offer in Tyrol includes a huge selection of interesting excursion destinations. So, set aside some time and make use of a rainy day to discover the art and culture of Tyrol.
