Climbing

Straight up to the summit

Via ferrata climbing is a trend in mountain sports, and here in the beautiful Zillertal, we have been "infected" by the enthusiasm for it too. These via ferrata climbs allow hikers to enter the "vertical realm" (with the appropriate equipment and depending on difficulty level of course). A via ferrata is a route secured with cables and iron rungs. The difficulty level ranges from A (easy) to E (extremely difficult). Numerous via ferrata climbs within 25 m provide a real rush of adrenaline.

Matthias Schiestl will gladly accompany you if you want to get to know the Zillertal from a new perspective. The Huterlaner via ferrata in Mayrhofen is recommended for beginners and children. Here, you can choose between the high ropes course or the via ferrata - depending on what you're in the mood for. This is a great place for first climbing experiences with the whole family. It is fun and is great training for your sense of balance as well as concentration.

You can head even higher up on the via ferrata climbs of Ginzling and Hainzenberg or on the Zimmereben via ferrata in Mayrhofen.
