Active vacation in Tux

There’s something indescribable about the loveliness of the Zillertal mountains, of the joy of being here in summer and autumn, and that feeling of carving the ski slopes of the Tux glacier. Trying to explain it to people like you is a bit like selling snow to Eskimos or exporting rice to China, or however those clever sayings put it. All we can say is that our hotel is and has nearly anything and everything that sports and outdoor fans want from their hard-earned vacation.

Starting with the mountains, always beckoning.

But that’s not all by any stretch.

A dear guest once claimed that given its beauty, our dear Lord God himself must have kissed the Tux valley. From dreamy groves of pristine nature to high-tech ski lifts and meticulously groomed ski slopes, it is a valley marked by four seasons, blessed with a panoply of options in every corner. When the snow is gone, there are hiking paths that run directly in front of our hotel, as well as MTB tours that promise thrills for beginners and novices alike.

The entrance to the ski resort is just 500 meters away, and is conveniently accessed using the free ski bus. The same is true for the glacier ski area (5 km away). If there’s enough snow on the ground, then advanced skiers can glide all the way back to our 20m outdoor pool and…
