Mouse-Tracking
Our objective as defined by the GDPR (Justified Interest) is improving the quality of our offerings and our website. We use software called Hotjar to better understand the needs of our users and optimize the offerings on our website. Hotjar technology provides us with a better understanding of our users’ experiences (such as how much time users spend on which pages, which links they click, what they like and what not). This feedback helps us improve our offerings. Hotjar works with cookies (see above) and other technologies to collect information about the user’s behavior and the devices they are using to visit or pages (especially the IP device of the web browsing device [collected and stored in anonymized form], the size of the screen, device type (unique device identifiers), information about the browser, location (country only), and language preferences). Hotjar stores this information in a partially anonymized user profile. This information used neither by Hotjar nor us to identify individual users, nor is the information collated with other information about individual users. For more information, please see Hotjar’s privacy declaration: //www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>https://www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy.

Google-Re/Marketing-Services
Our objective as defined by the GDPR (Justified Interest) is improving the quality of our offerings and our website. For this reason we use the marketing/remarketing services (“Google-Marketing-Services”) offered by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, (“Google”).
Google is certified based on the Privacy Shield agreement, which offers a further guarantee that it will adhere to European privacy protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
Google Marketing Services allow us to present you with ads, generally and on our website, that are tailored to your specific interests. To do so, Google executes a code and uses so-called “(re)marketing tags” that are stored in custom cookies in the user’s browser. More information about the use of cookies provided above.
The collected information can then be combined by Google with information from other sources. When the user then visits other websites, information about the user’s interests can be used to show ads that appeal specifically to him or her.
Google Analytics also records the user’s IP address, but this is immediately anonymized by deleting the last 8 bits. This allows only for a general identification of the user, with ads not administered and shown for a concrete person, but rather for the owner of the cookie, regardless of who that cookie owner is. This does not apply of course in situations where the user explicitly consents for Google to process his or her data without anonymization. Information collected by Google Marketing Services about the user is transmitted to Google and stored on Google’s services in the USA. The user’s IP address is not combined with other user data within other offerings from Google.
We set cookies for Google Marketing Services, including those for “Google AdWords“, based on the “AdSense” service from Google Marketing Services and its own set of cookies, we may present ads from third parties. More information about data usage by Google for marketing purposes can be found at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads, while the privacy policy from Google can be found at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy abrufbar.
Beyond this, we use “Google Tag Manager” to centrally integrate and administer analysis and marketing services provided by Google.
