Your vacation home at the Tirolerhof is directly between the Eggalm and Rastkogel ski resorts, making it the perfect starting point for unforgettable days of ski and snowboarding. Advanced skiers can even cruise right to the door of the Tirolerhof.

Steep, steeper, harakiri in Mayrhofen
Mayrhofner Bergbahnen
The ski areas of the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen are just around the corner from Hintertux. Starting from the Eggalm ski resort, located directly near the Tirolerhof, you can move on easily to the Rastkogel, and from there you can pass on to the Mayrhofner Bergbahnen lifts without even taking off your skis. The route back is just as simple. A connection as practical as it is beautiful!
Winter sports & panorama gondola
The new Penkenbahn opened in December 2015, offering yet another fine attraction to the ski resort. It offers plentiful space as it whisks winter sports fans to the peak of the Penken at twice the speed. Here too you’ll find on-trail entertainment like no where else in the world. Harakiri, which at a 78 % tilt is the steepest trail in Austria, promises a hefty dose of adrenaline. Experts only! Those who prefer it a bit less extreme can carve their way
The Penken is known for speedy downhills, but also has the Funslope Ahorn for children. Non-skiers can enjoy a bit of sun on their faces from the new terrace of the cafe-bistro.
One new attraction: the Penkenbahn, which promises less waiting and quick and comfortable transport to the peak.

Meet FUNty, the mascot for the Zillertal Arena. He welcomes little skiers to the slopes and always has a high five for more experienced skiers too. How about a jaunt over to neighboring Salzburg? No problem. The Zillertal Arena is a 4-mountain ski carousel that connects to the Pinzgau, across provincial borders. You can cruise from one federal province to another all in one day, without ever removing your skis.
Another highlight of the Zillertal Arena: the many après ski bars along the base station. What better way to crown off a fabulous day of skiing than music and a shot of the local schnapps?
